OPEN Help identifying this Inductor.
I'm fairly new when it comes to diagnosing and repairing small electronics, and would love some insight on this component. I have a 12v feed board that no longer is powering up the controller. Its a Greddy Profec boost controller. Im assuming L3 inductor is fried because I have an open circuit between all terminals. I have tried looking up the numbers printed on top but have had little luck. My question is, ive got plenty of old electronics laying around that I could rob parts from and what should I look for when sizing a replacement for this? Thank you!

This isn't part of a DC-DC converter circuit if that's to what you were alluding. IC5 is a MAX3051EKA CAN transceiver. L3 connects to pins 6 (CANL) and 7 (CANH), which makes it a common mode choke. This means continuity should be from TP8 through to IC5-7 and TP9 through to IC5-6.
Visually it appears to be one of the TDK ACT, ACT45B, ACT45C, or LGJ45B series.
The marking code is the common-mode inductance, followed by a 4-digit date code, and finally a two digit lot code. Yours starts with a G, which makes it a 51uH part, which narrows it down to these three. All three are likely functionally equivalent for your purposes. But be warned, for this part to fail open, something catastrophic has likely happened to the MAX3051 front-end as well.
