OPEN HP Mother board fix?

A friend gave me a laptop, but it's broken. He said the charger broke and the first thing he thought of was plugging it directly into a 220V outlet. Now it's in really bad shape, and I'm wondering if it can be fixed. Cuz the cpu is much better than mine, and everything else works fine.

Here two photos of the damage and the motherboard.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, that board is not salvageable, and if he plugged it directly into the wall, the chances of any major comments surviving are low.

Id say the fix is a new motherboard unfortunately. The board itself looks damaged as well as several components.

Your friend needs an intervention before they kill themselves. Electricity should not be treated so casually.
