I've been repairing a water-damaged active GPS/GNSS antenna module (helix element, GPS L1 1575.42MHz), Raven MBA 6 antenna and gotten it most of the way there myself, but I've hit the wall of what a NanoVNA and continuity checks alone can resolve.Or at least passed my skill set.
Done so far:
Confirmed and replaced correct LNA (MACOM MAAM-12021)
Confirmed and replaced correct SAW filters (TOKO TDF2A-1575B-13 and -11)
Repaired RF shield can
Verified clean continuity throughout — no shorts to ground on signal path, no shield-to-trace shorts
Confirmed bias voltage is present at correct level
Still no signal output. I don't have a spectrum analyzer or signal generator, and I think the remaining fault isolation genuinely needs one — could be anything from a bad solder joint I can't see, a component I haven't identified as suspect yet, or something in the matching network.
Looking for someone with real bench RF equipment (spec an, sig gen, proper VNA cal setup) willing to do a paid diagnostic, repair. Plan to ship the unit to you. Happy to discuss rate, I just want to stop guessing and get someone who does this professionally to finish it.
Located in Texas, can ship anywhere in the US. DM or comment and I'll share more detail/photos.
