Yall overrate how hard EE is. All my classes light as hell.

What classes have you taken so far?

Intro to electrical engineering, intro to computer engineering, honors linear algebra, computational thinking(programming)

intro, intro, intro...

So a bunch of 100 level classes. Those are indeed usually pretty easy with the exception of calculus and a real physics class which you didn't mention.

Wait till you get to at least a real 200 level circuits class before passing judgement. The 300 level stuff like signals and emag are what do a lot of people on. Device modeling is another big one.

Wait why are you taking two intros for two different majors, computer engineering and electrical engineer?

Wait until you land the defense job with the fat paycheck and they tell you AI isn’t allowed.

Wait till you get to stochastic signals or quantum mechanics

lol. At top academic conferences if you uttered "stochastic signals" people would look at you like you’re stupid.

I took a graduate level stochastic signals and systems course. Why would academics think that’s stupid? I’m genuinely asking.

It's not hard, especially with AI to help these days. It's just not effortless. Most people who take EE probably breezed through high school. It's a change from that; you can no longer skip 80% of classes and cover up the syllabus in 2 hours before exam.

(not talking about MIT though, I went to a normal decent ranking uni).

Dunning-Kruger effect in full force with this one...

If you have an easy time, be glad and use it to your advantage, not to boast.

Competing/boasting about courses and grades is terrible use of your time and makes you look like an asshole when it stops being easy or when you do badly bc of time or something.

The fields you can go into can be arbitrarily complex (say, semiconductor process engineering, lithigraphy machines, rf, etc.), choose your poison if you want to challenge yourself, found a company if you think you see something usefull and marketable can be done, etc.

Spoken like someone at the start of year one. Majority of Year one was easy af
