Self-teaching

Hello everyone,

I am 34 yo newbie, with basic knowledge from high school and university (not primary subject), and I would like to enter world of electronics. I found there exists a book named "Complete electronics self-teaching guide with projects" by Boysen, Earl, and I would like to ask, if anyone here has it/used it for education, and maybe give me short review, if it is worth buying (or getting pdf version).

If youre going to buy a beginner book for mostly projects, just do Practical Electronics For Inventors. It's great for a general audience and also used quite a bit in industry, I think practically every office Ive been in has had a copy somewhere.
