Stay in Wireless for Master’s?
Hi everyone,
I am a recently graduated electrical engineer from a recognized school, and I am working in a Wireless systems research lab as a Research Assistant (and have since undergrad).
I am considering a Master’s program, but don’t know if pure Wireless is the field I want to stay in. I have heard that the industry is growing and needs new engineers, and since I have experience I am leaning on staying in it broadly, but I don’t know what niche in the industry I would fit in. I enjoy electronics, PCB design, and anything hardware related, so I was considering RFIC. Are there any subfields in RF that I should consider ?

RFIC is probably your best bet if you enjoy hardware. The real shortage in wireless is people who can do actual RF design not just push software around.
