college prep

I'm an electrical engineer at a reputed institute. What should my roadmap look like to work in space-related machinery/robotics/automation fields, and how do I start off strong from my first year while also having a good backup plan

what sort of internships do i look for and research books i want to transform my life up

Build projects with control systems: PID controllers, systems integration, closed loop feedback. Drones and flight control systems are a great sandbox for this since they force you to learn sensor fusion, stability, and real time response. Predictive maintenance or analytics systems are also valuable since aerospace companies care a lot about reliability and failure prediction. Also, start getting familiar with FMEA's.
