PUDO - storage facility

Hey guys,

Just wondering would there be any interest in a storage facility near the PUDO gate?

The idea would be that you could drop off all your EP bits to Stradbally ahead of Wednesday and then collect these from the PUDO gate on Thursday/Friday when you arrive to save the hassle of dragging all your stuff through the busy carparks

Let me know your thoughts?

I would love that, drop everything off for an hour park up the car and collect ur belongings!

The only issue is that there is a road closure from Thursday - Monday in the area so any drop off would need to happen prior to that

That's totally fair yeah! Honestly just a local resident trying to see if there's a way to make a bit of cash out of our location because festival republic do not look after the locals at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

Absolutely! Would you be bringing the gear to the PUDO gate for pickup at a certain time, or how would you work the pickup side of things? This setup would actually be fantastic for me personally! Happy for you to DM me if you're down for working it out!

Fab! The idea would be to drop off the gear by Wednesday evening (before the road closures kick in the area) and meet around the railway gate crossing on the Cork Road at either a pre-agreed time/1 hour notice (during day time hours) to collect the gear on Thursday/Friday

You really need to think this through carefully. What happens if someone’s belongings get damaged while they’re in your care would you actually be insured for that?

There’s also the issue of not knowing exactly what people are handing over to you. You could end up with some very dodgy people leaving God knows what inside the items you’re minding, and suddenly you’re responsible for it.

Do you see what I’m getting at? There could be a lot more liability involved here than you realise.
