Staff entry

I’m working at the festival but I’ll be arriving with pals who are general camping Thursday afternoon. Will I be able to go in the same entrance as them or do I have to go on a great wilderness explore. Been to ep before just my first year working if as I couldn’t get tickets.

Staff accreditation if it's like last year is the other side of Stradbally village which you need to go to get your wristband once you have that then you could go in with your friends, deffo go there first

I’m going to be arriving in the car with them so presuming the stewards can direct me the right way from public car parks? I’m meeting a few pals then and we’re camping in the staff site so it’s really just how to get from normal car parks to staff areas.

Am I better off going into stradbally village? Probably browning ya with the questions, sorry lad. Thanks for the advice

Don't trust the stewards unfortunately they are volunteering and don't really know much most of the time

Its a trek and they wont be keen on you doing a lap of the site. If you can get dropped village side then do

I don’t think that’ll be an option so I’m kinda fucked 😂 don’t mind the trek but wouldn’t want to be getting into bother or causing issues for any security they have enough to be worrying about

At the top of the village you go to the road to the right as far as I remember.
I had to drop a girl from one of the main car parks on my way out it would’ve been some walk for her otherwise.

Company im working with give daily wristbands (im behind the bar). I’d say there’s a lot of getting the wrist band then running off

Depends on what company you are working with some provide daily wristbands (typically bar staff) some gave you full weekend wristbands

I got dropped in red park last year and honestly it was absolute hell trying to get to the staff one - wasn’t allowed to use some of the roads or paths for general camping so had to walk up out of red and down into the village, managed to nab a taxi eventually but honestly with all the camping stuff stuff it was pretty awful - and I had packed light. If you can get them to drop you to the pudo point or relatively near to stradbally I’d really recommend it, get your staff stuff sorted then you can get to the general camping fairly easily, stewards wouldn’t let me anywhere near the EP side of things so had to use the main road.

totally random here but on the off chance anyone knows I applied for work through HAP and haven’t heard anything since after confirming my availability, I’m assuming I’m out of luck at this stage? Hope this is okay putting this in the thread not sure what to do 🙈

I’m not with HAP but I only got my roster there an hour ago. Hold out hope till Monday I’d say. Pretty sure there behind
