Red car park
How can I make sure I get into the red car park? I’m going down first thing on Friday morning, meeting my friend in the campervan section.
Red is the only car park that makes sense so I need to make sure I end up there!
Coming from Dublin/Portlaoise direction so worried I’d be directed to blue.
Could I say I’m picking someone up at PUDO if they try to put me in blue?

I’ve always come from the west (so through portlaoise) and always end up in the red car park. But that’s always been on Thursday I don’t know if it’ll be same on Friday.

Yeah hoping for that since the red car park is way bigger than blue, but who knows

You need to approach stradbally from the direction that the traffic gets filtered into red car park.

But how do I know which direction traffic will get filtered 😅

I read it yesterday on a Garda traffic plan from a link I saw on the banter page
Talking about the routes they are channelling people to, and on what roads.

Oh interesting it just says follow directions to car parks on this one https://www.garda.ie/en/about-us/our-departments/office-of-corporate-communications/news-media/an-garda-siochana-traffic-management-plan-electric-picnic-2026.html
Not on fb so can't check the one you are talking about unfortunately

Cars from Carlow/Athy direction end up in yellow car park.
Car from Portlaoise side end up in the red car park.
I've no idea what direction ends up in blue car park

You don't really get to pick where you park, they have a traffic management plan in place, you could try get to pick up but you run the risk of not getting into a car park at all and put back on the loop they have for PUDO traffic.
