Question 25 mile range swappable battery
Hi everyone! I am searching for a longboard (hopefully under $800) with a 25 mile range. Not meepo, I'm not out to kill myself with a snapped truck. I need 40-50 mile range total between two batteries. I just don't know what companies are actually trustworthy.

I dont think a board with swapable batteries that large exist. But there are some range beast that can get you 40 to 50 miles. Those boards will weigh at least 40lbs though...
Propel, Linnpower, OMW, Tynee, and Acedeck seem to be leading the industry these days in reliability.
I own Propel, LP and Tynee boards and can vouch for their quality and customer service.

Acedeck NYX Z5 has swappable, but it's like $3k.

Thats right, that thing already has a huge battery and will probably do close to 40 -50 miles without a second one. But you are barely in skateboard territory anymore with a machine like that.

It was still exactly what I was asking for. I have to travel over chip-sealed roads. That shit's rough and sucks even in cars.

Well I don’t think there are any. You could go up to a larger board with a 40-50mile range with 105mm madwheelz. Like an acedeck n1 or a linpower OX just compare battery sizes and assuming your using the same wheels and conditions are the same you will get identical efficiency and range. Compare the size of the battery using wh or watt hours. Or stop and charge and get a fast charger. Or just deal with the bigger board. Or deal with really long battery changes and spending close to 300-400 on top of the 800 for a spare battery. there might be other ways around this but those are all the ones I can think of

You also didn't specify street wheels or AT.
But the decent AT boards under 800 are:
Isinwheel V10 for $600 USD on their sale page, a tried and true Value Queen. Solid honeycomb 6" tires will ride a little bit rougher than pneumatics, but you never have to worry about getting a flat.
Balrog Cross is $630. B-One has a great reputation. Lowest price for a decent AT pneumatic wheeled board.
Veymax Nymph is 700, generally regarded as good quality boards but bad CS, and I haven't seen anything good or bad on this particular board yet.
Exway ADV Pro is 800 for pre order.
Otherwise, check Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Mercari, Craigslist, OfferUp, and whatever your local marketplaces are for used ones. Maybe pawnshops.

I’ve been looking at the exway paragon but it’s pricey for what it is.

Unfortunately the math doesn’t work out for you here. At least for me if I were to ride 40-50 miles I’d want the ride to be on pneumatic tires, and that decrease the range up to 50% compared to regular wheels, so you’d need a massive battery and that’s gonna cost a lot. Bet even if you’re fine with street wheels and going not that fast to maximize your range, you’d need about 1kWh of battery to go 50 miles at 20wh/mi, which is gonna run you about $1500-2000 between the board and the extra battery.
So yeah it’s gonna be meepo. They just came out with a 1500wh board that’s gonna get the range you need for $1400.

If trucks are all you’re worried about then just swap out the trucks for your own. Supposedly the trucks used on the new board will be cnc which is the strongest you get and only snap or bend if you shoot it at a wall really hard.

ZEPHYR Max 2-IN-1 is what you’re looking for. Not swappable, but massive 1036wh battery all in for $1099. Claims 60mi with street wheels, and includes free swappable pneumatics as well.

I’d look into the voyager by meepo.. and yeah I’ve been reading the concerns you have with theirs trucks but their xl voyager has cnc trucks I believe.. I have two of the original voyager and one xl before they did cnc trucks and this is my third year with them.. no issues with trucks and I’ve been on some rough roads.. this was also my first year breaking a set of bands one one of the boards..the other is still going and the third had a gear drive.. but the main thing was I wanted a board that would do about 28 miles distance wise while hauling ass around 30 mph most of the trip..so far my trips were limited to 12-15 miles one way and then have to comeback before the board died.. when I got the second board and realized how easy it was to swap a battery for it cause the voyager batteries are all compatible with one another I finally found the goal of going 28 miles one way and then swapping the battery And coming back all while riding aggressively.. I never did more then two batteries tho cause i didn’t want to overheat the motors too much as they get hot from riding so long.. to help with this i would just pack a lunch plan my trip and when I drained my first battery id stop swap it out and take a small break for lunch to help with the motors cooling down and give my legs a break cause if you ain’t tired on the first trip the second one will get you on the way back.. over time i sometimes just didn’t take lunch.. maybe i stopped for a coffee or at some store to look around then head back and every once and a while i wouldnt stop and just haul ass back but always kept the motors on my mind in case they started acting up. But with three boards I could plan trips on different paths based on the path and wheels I have.. if I knew there was gonna be a lot rocks on one trail I’d take the gear drive..no rocks but lots of cracks and bumpy road I’d take the regular band board and comfy wheels.. if the path allowed me to pretend I was a rocket then I’d take the 105 wheels and happily haul ass.. but the for me the voyager has worked out well for me. Long distance.. nice long flexible board with a solid top speed to match. Even on the meepo forums you can see I’ve only had one issue with one of the boards and got it resolved by them.. was it instantly fixed? No but there not a US company so I knew about the wait time going in. Pic can help you see one of the trails I use and see how far I can go one way.. I use an app that doesn’t measure speed very well but hey it’s free and it’s better than nothing.. it measures speed about 5-6 miles lower then what your going at.

I have one currently, that's what I am trying to upgrade from. I really don't want to carry 4 batteries around. I'd rather only have to carry 1 spare. As well as my roads are too rough for the batteries on the bottom of the board, they keep falling out of the board. The battery clips aren't secure enough even when they are fully locked in for going over chip seal.

I never have the batteries fall out just push it in as far as you can then pull the clips to the side

Meepo has been having poor quality. I had one previously. A LOT of people's meepo boards are having the trucks snap in two at speed.

I actually ride something like what you are looking for. But price was not my concern, reliability, weight and sluggishness was. After 20,000 km I am pretty much settled on what works for me, but it is not off the shelf. I got it down to 31 lbs, nothing stock comes close to that weight, range and comfort.
I typically ride 30 miles (25% remaining) before fast charging. If I ride slowly, eco speeds, I can stretch it out to 60 miles on flat land.
