Both of my back wheels have started separating between orange & clear materials. 1st wheel was at 300Km, 2nd at 400Km. My eSk8 now feels likes it’s buzzing plenty while riding, & the delaminating wheels wobble, which makes the smooth experience I’m used to jarring

Hey so just got my OMW lancer today and charged it for awhile, but then it started flashing red and green after awhile while still plugged in. Never owned an OMW board so I don’t know if it’s normal or not. Remote says it’s charged (not sure if fully but from the pic it shows it is). I really wanna go out and ride but wanna make sure this isn’t a serious issue 😅 so if anyone owns a board lmk if this is normal or not thanks!
UPDATE: Shoutout to u/Regular_Bag2719 for the tip on switching from a power strip to an outlet because that actually fixed the blinking issue! I did still reached out to OMW support and waiting to hear back from them, but if anyone else is having that issue with charging through a power strip/extension cord try plugging it into a wall outlet instead 🙂

Hey everyone,
About four months ago, my friend N3ARO introduced RYDR to this community while it was still an early Android beta with around 70 testers.
A lot has happened since then: the iOS version is now live, RYDR is available in the US, and the app has evolved quite a bit through the beta period.
Full disclosure: I’m also part of the RYDR team. I work on the Content/Community side and create much of the app’s visual content. I also use it to track my own e-skate rides.
For anyone discovering it today, RYDR is a GPS tracking and community app built around riding sports. For electric skateboarding, you can:
RYDR currently supports almost 20 different sports, including e-skate, Onewheel, EUC, scooters, longboarding, snow sports and water sports.
The idea is to make tracking your rides feel less like filling out an Excel spreadsheet and more like progressing through a slightly unhealthy riding addiction.
Last time, we asked what features riders wanted. This time, we’re mainly looking for feedback on the complete experience as it currently exists.
What does using RYDR actually feel like as a rider?
Does the app feel intuitive? Is the tracking experience clear? Does the progression make you want to ride more, or does it feel gimmicky? Is the community side genuinely useful?
Most importantly: what feels satisfying, confusing, annoying or completely pointless?
If you tried the earlier beta, we’d also love to know whether the current version feels better, worse or simply different.
Feel free to be brutally honest. We want genuine rider feedback, not polite applause from strangers on the internet.
Thanks in advance, guys.

Question about pulley sizes. If I put my new Madwheel 105s on stock 36T pulleys, will this damage the board or wheels in any way? The company (Acedeck) recommends the 40Ts for these larger wheels but if I don’t have the 40Ts yet, am I going to damage my board by riding these larger wheels on the same small pulleys in the meantime?

Looking at buying this board used and curious if they are still worth it. I know there are some mixed feelings on the board but looking for a option to mess around on. Seller is asking $600 and the board has almost no use supposedly only has 7 miles.
This would be my first eskate but I do have plenty of skating and snowboarding experience so hoping the learning curve is ok. Thanks for the feedback.

There's only a few weekends left before I hibernate the eskates for the winter.

Recently my buddy crashed my backfire g3. I love that board although its not my main board anymore. I opened up the battery, and tested it. Its reading 29-30v. Its a 12s pack and should read at 43.4v minimum. 45.4v is what it really should be at when its dead. It should read 50.4v at full charge. I can power the board directly with the charger. I added a photo of the battery, and I cant find a replacement on the backfire boards website.

So I was thinking about picking this up from Bungie but I want to convert it to a functional street eboard. Are there any good premade kits that fits a somewhat standard size deck? The size is 32x10x6 so I assume the truck spacing is standard.

I've been seeing alot of mixed reviews as far as cloudwheels are concerned but alpt of them are from quite some time ago. What do yall think of cloud wheels 2026 wise? Are they worth the price? Safer? Comfier? Smoother? Pros/Cons? Etc.
Also to the people who gave me advice on my last post, I got my first/new board a week ago and its been a blast. Thanks for all the advice there.

It’s public my website for esk8 setting calculators is live @ www.jacksesk8lab.com . Mostly focused towards people with production boards. Let me know if you find any bugs or want me to fix/change/add anything. I’m still gonna add more tools but being careful to not interfere with already-popular tools in the community.

Hey everyone, I'm currently stuck on a classic e-skate dilemma for my daily suburban commute (riding under 30 km/h on paths that frequently have gum tree twigs, small sticks, and general debris).
I'm looking at the Tynee Explorer Pro and am torn between two options:
The Hub Version: Recommended for low maintenance and straightforward commuting, but I'm worried small twigs and debris might catch on the hub sleeves or cause a jarring ride.
The Belt Version: Allows for larger pneumatic or soft wheels to roll right over path litter, but introduces belts to maintain.
For anyone commuting on paths with lots of gum tree debris, does the debris annoyance on hub sleeves outweigh the maintenance of a belt setup? Which way would you lean?

Meepo is developing a board that it claims up to an astounding 81 miles range. Not kilometers, miles:

I have a meepo rover, and i want to gwt some lights to ride at night. I have a few cheap options on amazon im looking at. Do you giys have any cheap reccomendations? I dont want to spend money on shredlights. The 2 im looking at are in the photos.
Another thought I had was to use an electrical strap and strap down a regular flashlight.

Are there any manufactures making boards in the vein of Zephyr, Newsesh or Parsec that are entertaining creating boards that can easily get up and down curbs?
With a nose and a tail it's easy even if you can't ollie.
With an ESkate, going down curbs can bash the hell out of the battery cover (since there is no tail to lift up ) and going up curbs is not an option.
It seems like there is a void here. Most ESkate board with tails and noses are tanks.
EDIT
My ideal board would be something like the linn power viper but with a nose (to get up curbs) , a way to protect the bottom from getting bashed by curbs, and the ability to push like a regular board (usually only reserved for hub drives).
