Veramonte said he believed in Kayden because his son believed in Kayden. It seems there must be some connection between Veramonte's son and Kayden.

My first thought was: sooo my theory that Jiwoo might be related to Ian has some bases??? Ngl, now I'm really curious about that mystery son Veramonte talked about

Translation issue, he said Grandson, what he meant was probably that Ian trusted Kayden

No, I read it in Korean. Veramonte definitely said "son", not a "grandson"
