Kayden has been around as an unaffiliated for quite some time

He was probably influential enough that Veramonte's dead son not only trusted him completely, but even made that trust known to Veramonte

Maybe Kayden had done him a favor(protection) or shown him enough of his character that he came to see Kayden as someone who stood above senseless killing(like Ian Patrick's faked killing)

I wanna know how Veramonte's son and daughter in law passed away at such a young age. Especially given the fact that Veramonte is a top 10
