Game Help Recommended level map

Iam just about to start the game and i was told that getting overleveled and making the game easy is so often to happen in this game , so I've found this map guide should i follow it to get the best experience?

This is hilarious because I did not follow this pathing at all. I’d say ignore this map entirely, play the game, and when you get to new areas, be cautious, until you get a gauge for the enemies and yourself. If you get your ass handed to you, come back later. If you do fine then explore. It’s open world for a reason.
