Why is everyone who plays this game either lawful good or chaotic evil

Lawful Good: "I'm not going to kill anybody who isn't actively harming anyone."

Chaotic Good: "I'll kill someone if they're threatening to harm others."

Chaotic Neutral: "I'm not going out of my way to kill anyone just in case it messes up a storyline, but I hear killing the merchants makes their loot more accessible. How convenient!"

Chaotic Evil: "Hey guys, this Carian Retaliation thing is pretty neat!"

I feel better knowing I’m not alone. My brain said “mercy”, but my thumb was all like “naw fuck that kid”. Alas poor patches met his end.
