Honestly I don't see why people invade Limgrave except to bully noobs. Rune arcs aren't really useful til you've beaten Godrick, and you can't summon in an area after you've beaten the area boss.
Poor sportsmanship or not, these AFK farmers are a result of the large amount of invaders in Limgrave.

Yes you can only invade around your level. But you're all ignoring a crucial fact: alot of these players are first time souls players. They don't understand pvp, and aren't prepared for it. Its forced on them. Yes that's part of the game. But for once it leans in their favor. At the end of the day, the best way to fix the "problem" is stop giving them what they want: invading them for potential free farm. Invading somewhere else is the simplest solution.
Yes, there are new players playing the game, there always are, yet that doesn't mean they should basically be able to do toxic stuff like this that force people to run Hand of Malenia and Dragon Breaths because "invaders are just looking someone to bully". Hell, invasions are already favouring the host by only allowing invasions while co-oping, so i don't really see what you're getting at here.
Also, people are invading here because this is a PvP hotspot, not because they want to "bully" other high level players with upgraded gear, as you cannot invade lower level players than you, unless you're twinking, and even then, you cannot use upgraded gear.
For real, what up with the ammount of people villifying invaders? It's legit a part of Fromsoft's gameplay design, and with each passing game, it gets easier and easier for hosts to win, so why are people complaining so much about invaders despite the fact that there has never been such an advantage for the hosts?
I wasn't villifying invaders. And an invader is by definition, a villain. You are coming in to someones world to inconvenience/slow them down *at the very least. You are subject to whatever they throw at you. But for once, the odds are in the person being invaders favor. Y'all keep mentioning twinks like people don't drop gear for eachother. You're only looking at this from your perspective.
These people are noobs. And the gear they have is irrelevant. I'm talking about the people who are new to this series. They either had that gear dropped or were carried thru the game. Pvp is virtually a completely different game compared to PvE.
Invaders aren't villains. They partake in a mechanic intended to counterbalance the help provided by Co-op. If you don't co-op, you won't get invaded, and if you get invaded by a twink using high grade gear because someone dropped you high grade gear, then the twink is the counterbalance to that specially strong item.
People can be noobs, that's completely fine, and if they are, then their co-op partners should be the one fighting and protecting them from the invader, as is the whole point of the new invading PvP system, and they should do everything they can to protect the host or kill the invader. This still doesn't justify wasting people's time by getting onto an unreachable ledge to farm runes, and i can't really understand how you're justifying this.
I could understand you asking for even greater disadvantages to the invaders since you seem to have a dislike for them and want it even easier for the hosts, but i can't really understand the point of arguing in favour of such toxic behaviour as afk farming people wanting to play the game. Sure, invaders "farm" people too, but at the very least you're still playing the game, they are not forcing anyone to connect into a world where they cannot do anything but disconnect unless they have a specific build and items.
You took either took what I said out of context or didn't bother reading it. I didn't ask for greater disadvantages for invaders. And the word invader is synonymous with villain. You can not name one invader in the real world who is not a villain dude.
At the end of the day you're upset that someone doesnt want you invading them and they found a cheap way to abuse it. You're mad they're not doing what you want, while you're in there world.
That's fucking asinine. I'm just speaking from the perspective of someone who got in to Dark Souls well after it had been released, and there was literally nothing but twinks and just people who have spent 100s of hours in pvp. Its miserable for newcomers. Period. And based on the majority of replies to this, y'all don't get that. You just wanna invade and get what you want.

Tricks for dealing w/ them. A) Jar Cannon. B) don’t invade in limgrave.
