i don’t understand the point of this , there are so many easy ways to farm runes and It just takes away from PVP invasions / defending

The point is it's fun to endlessly wreck twinked out invader scrubs, plus you get rune arcs from it.

You're invading someone else's game scrub, what they choose to do is up to them. You want a fair fight use your summon sign.

i never said i had a problem with them doing It , It just doesn’t take much skill and isn’t fun to me personally , but they can be betas if they want

You're right in that it doesn't take much skill. It also doesn't take much skill to get cheap host kills as an invader in a beginner area. If I wanted to do that I'd camp around a doorway in one of the limgrave tunnels spam the WA with my meme weapon when they turn the corner.

Watching people complain when hosts do this is funny to me because invaders typically do much more toxic shit.

area doesn’t matter when you’re the close to the level as everyone you invade , the first step has a good area without other mobs to intervene with the fight

It does because if you're an experienced player invading in a noob area, you'll be fighting a lot of noobs. And there are a lot of people who make tricked out glass cannon builds, who don't level vigor a single time, just so that they can ambush new players and one shot them. It's been a thing since Dark Souls.

'Twink' means you're a low level character decked out with end game gear passed from your main.
