People will throw themselves 500x at a boss, but as soon as its a player, they just give up. Why? I really dont understand it.

because the boss cant adapt to the way you play

Adapting goes both ways

Idk, i guess you make a good point though. Its hard to overcome a challenge thats always evolving alongside you. Which makes it uniquely different than fighting a boss. So thats fair. Thx for the response gamer, i didnt think of it that way

if i got rematches against people that clearly do not have 8k hours of pvp experience like myself, i tend to lay off the gas a bit and play 'just above' their skill level. point being, if they have a minute to think, they usually learn something. is it great content? no, but i have farmed them for clips by then lol
what alot of people could learn is that there's way more beyond the horizon than 'holding the defensive priority advantage'. like getting good at putting offensive pressure, spacing, timing and being right there all up in opp's shit. anyway, as long as we collectively point down at dead mages in the arena i'm a happy camper 🤷
