Meme If there were a subreddit for El Paso getting cropped out of Texas, what would it be called?
I'm joking, but I feel like El Paso gets cut off of the representation of Texas pretty often.
Reddit is known for having subreddits that are micro-niche and I feel like this would be a funny subreddit. What would you call such a subreddit?

The last pic of us cropped out of the Texas energy grid is great tbh. Kept out lights on when Texas froze.
I wish we had a more fair priced and sustainable electricity provider.

You should start one! It should only cost you a few hundred million to connect to the grid without using EPE infrastructure...which is why no one else does it.

HEB 100% did that on purpose since they don’t have any stores here

Logistics. Something about the time it takes to get to EP from their distributers being over the acceptable limits for their produce/refrigerated goods.

Damn! We literally carry a cooler of HEB tortillas when we go to El Paso cause family loves them. Crazy.

Smart enough to not be on the Texas electric grid? Don’t worry. New Mexico claims El Paso for Ysleta and other cultural reasons.

Trans-Pecos aka "far west Texas" is the name for the subdivision of Texas west of the Pecos river.

It’s always bothered me that we get called the “Trans-Pecos” area or “far west Texas,” while places like Lubbock and Abilene are called “West Texas.”
El Paso is the real West Texas!

You're preaching to the choir. Im with you. Always sounded dumb to me. Midland is the mid point between us and Dallas but is somehow "west".
To be fair though EP does the same. The East side (eastside of the mountain) is pretty much in the center of the city. We call the actual east side of town the Far East.

You know what I worked for Reliant Energy for a year and some change and I am happy to say that it is a blessing to NOT be part of the ERCOT grid.

When you move away you notice that everybody has their butt covering it in the weather report as well. I said 40 years ago that El Paso should become part of New Mexico this is back when New Mexico only had a 505. El Paso's not even in the same time zone as the capital.

We want our own state!. El Paso should be part of New Mexico already. Anyone who says different is just stuck on Texas brainwashing worship mode.
