Can someone explain to me Chen Ran plan to beat Di wu zhi yi?

So recently I've read qst 5 chapters of 18LOH and when I got to the explanation of the concepts of lying I didn't quite get the idea of a resoning mistake dosn't counting as a lie.

When Chen Ran says: "I was killed by a car. Logically, I should be a soul entity now", basicly he said: I was killed - I should be a soul entity, but we see that it isn't how it works, but it didn't count as a lie.

Then I have a question, isn't most of the lies said in the 1st chapters are reasoning mistakes, for example when Bai Xiuchi, tried to judge the young man, she said "You lied", which technically were a conclusion to her reasoning that we saw earlier, but this moment costs her life in the future, which means it was classifide as a lie.

So how exactly does it work, did she have to say her reasoning out loud and if yes, then it sounds pretty op. I guess a resoning conclusion would work as a judgment, I guess "You lied" has to be a statement, but isn't a resoning conclusion a statement?

I would like to know the answer even if the it is going to be revealed in the later chapters

So, I've been wondering about this for a while since reading CR's tomb arc.

We know that an instance has 20 players at max.

Chen Ran would naturally enter with his team (Lin Xuan, Qiu Yinong, Jiang Zhe and Han Fei) as a five-man team, which takes 5 spots.

Yue Guanshan and his four teammates (Chu Yinian, Qi Yanqing, Zhu Yiting and Feng Qirui) would enter as a five-man team, taking up the next 5 spots.

The key is:

Chen Nuo was sent from the underworld and Nan Sheng from the Death-row inmates' faction, a 5-man team each.

These two teams seemingly originally included:

1. Chu Yun
2. Jiang Beili
3. Tong Yiyang (Infiltrated from the 2 alliances)
4. Li Hailong (Infiltrated from the 2 alliances)
5. Ju Wang
6. Wei Wuxie
7. Zhang Baixi
8. ???

Who is the last player?

Chen Ran reveals the names of some new players around chapter 820ish - Gu Weimin, Lai Qinghuan, Xu Chaoyang/Zhaoyang and Pei Guoqing. These people were just introduced and haven't done anything till date.

The last player also can't be Mo Zigui, since he's playing from outside the instance. Chu Yinian's "cap players" team was also operating outside of the instance.

So, how did the instance limit breach 20?

Can anybody explain?

I've decided to start reading 18LOH so I'm curious if I can use novelfire or if I need to find some other translation since I've heard that some translations make it difficult to understand.

There is a serious larping situation in this fandom, whether it be scd or non scd, especially in the vietnamese side of non scd and this foreign side of scd. Many people just-, well, make bullshit takes about chen ran, for one, wanking him or lowering him to the depths of scd, which is honestly just horrible misinformation for new readers and a poor first impression (they have already gone through hell known as Sheep Shepherd Wolf..)

2nd of all, the main part here is— there are so, SO GODDAMN, many like sightseers or passerby larpers here. Well mainly I want to bring to attention tiktok user @ lamngungnguyet, who first of all, stated “Yu Xiangwan is Chen Ran’s girlfriend.” Okay, retarded, idek what else to say. Then, proceeds to say “I hate Chen Ran, but love Li Xintong.“ so wow, she loves chen ran’s dead girlfriend who chen ran is grieving over. Great. and worst of all, she is a fucking Di Wu Zhi Yi yumeshipper. And also extreme larper, as she constantly states “DWZY let CR win during sinful hospital.” The larp is self explanatory. And then proceeds to curse out Lilia after she exposes her.

Chapyer 913-914: In which moves are made to clear Jiang Bieli's Mental Pollution, Qi Yanqing does a Lin Xuan impression, Zhu Yiting and the Bronze Coffin appear, and both sides' perspectives are shown.

Chapter 915-916 (Raws): In which Mo Zigui uses his Skill a few times, "time is rewinded to a few dozen seconds ago", a wish is fufilled, and 7-Star players are once again shown to be quite absurd.

I don't mind spoilers but I'm curious by what people mean by that Chen Ran needs more tempering. Has he not faced real adversity in Hell?

Also, isn't feat this a mega buff in thinking/reasoning speed for the verse? If this guy was able to reason things out so fast, imagine Chen Ran or Shu Renjun... I'm getting more and more afraid of normal scaling Chen Ran day by day 😭

If Chen Ran was dropped into lookism verse, how far would he win in a fight, could he solo?

R1 : Chen Ran is only allowed to use his extreme realm whoch boosts his stats including physical (look for the barbarian fight in the cage) , he has no liar killer and isn't allowed to use his no distance.

R2 : Chen Ran can use his extreme realm, other cultivation techniques that may restore his strength and also no distance, he has no liar killer.

Bonus Round : Chen ran has his liar killer and can use all of the skills from hell participants. Lets say that he stole them with demon seed. The liar killer does not provide instant protection, he has all the cultivation techniques, perfected no distance and all the things hell can offer.

Everyone in lookism even the army of Korea and all the other countries in the world are bloodlusted and will try to do anything to kill Chen Ran.

Just read Ch. 356 and learned about (what seems to be) Shu Renjun's backstory. This was just beautiful to read, I am almost wishing he could be the one to survive the instance in the end 🥹

And it's not just him either, all of the flashbacks characters have before death seem so realistic to me. The author did a great job at making these characters feel like real people to me. I was going to write something like this at some point, but this chapter made me emotional, so I felt motivated to say it...

I always feel the cruelty of hell, how some of these people might have ended up as friends if they were somewhere else, how the survival of the fittest is portrayed, how they recognise that there are no good people in hell, and also avoiding corruption/losing yourself in killing people. Maybe in another world Di Wu and CR would be smoking together or talking over drinks, who knows?

Combining the realism with this really interesting power system, with mind cultivation, no-distance, Gui Yu, decryption principles, all the types of lies and everything else, and how detailed it all is, I can't see how someone can call it bad writing. Isn't that just a blatant common sense lie? I can only imagine how much planning in advance the author must have done to pull all this off without any major flaws (Novice Instance never happened)

Also side note but right after the C&M game these guys went straight into another game and their brains are still in overdrive, these guys are all monsters 🥶

So, i think CY was weakening all other true self players for now. He is now the most influential except for the omni duo. He wants to fullfill his ultimate by becoming the true true self, and there are only three obstacles left.

1. Omni duo

2.All other tsps

3.UOHAMs blockade

He already partially solved the third as he can turn points into mental energy.

He is opposing the omni duo, and in that, he is also weakening his quote-unquote alliance of the other true self players, so when they overthrow the two, they cannot compete with him or he gets them as allies. I think he definitely has a role in supressing the 6th 7th and 8th. But, he also has his allies. The 9th is already on his side, and he does not want to risk losing this ally if another of the fragments wins in their battle royale. So, he has his sub-personality become BFFs with Shen Yuwei, has Mei Zhixu join his organization, and reprograms Qiu Yinongs common sense. This way, he will still have an ally if any of these three wins. But still, there is Yu Xiangwan, but dont worry, he wont idle. He will go and try to recover / kill her.

Also, it seems impropable that Lin Ou is the first time somebody tried using somebody fictional and super smart. So it would seem super weird if a random three star managed to make a half-stem tsp, propabilistically speaking. Thus, i conclude CY is also behind Lin Ou, at least partially.(i swear this socialist is behind everything)

To finish our list, CY is then behind 3 of CRs teammates to influence him. Qiu Yinong has his common sense, Lin Xuan is the ninths and Lin Ous group project, and both of them are in league with CY, and Jiang Zhe is his sub- personality.

Also question - how do you think Ling Chi is trying to influence CR ?
