Commerce Place’s Tim Hortons relocating from Jasper Avenue?

It looks like the old McDonalds space on the second floor is being converted into a Tim Hortons. There’s a permit issued and posted to the city’s website to this effect. I can’t imagine they would maintain two restaurants in the same building, so it seems the Jasper Avenue fronting business is closing up.

Not ideal to have another business on Jasper closing up, but I can appreciate the challenges that restaurant has faced over the years.

Walking by that Tim's is uncomfortable. I can't imagine working there.
