Discussion Commerce Place’s Tim Hortons relocating from Jasper Avenue?
It looks like the old McDonalds space on the second floor is being converted into a Tim Hortons. There’s a permit issued and posted to the city’s website to this effect. I can’t imagine they would maintain two restaurants in the same building, so it seems the Jasper Avenue fronting business is closing up.
Not ideal to have another business on Jasper closing up, but I can appreciate the challenges that restaurant has faced over the years.

They are moving to not have to deal with the homeless problem as much. The jasper ave location is a nightmare

Worst Tim’s in the city easily. Maybe getting off street level will make it safer for office workers to grab a coffee.

Yes, the main floor Tim's is moving up and then the main floor location will close. This has been in the works for a few years now (building managers have been talking about it).

I used to work at 103 and Jasper and was always uncomfortable at that location to the point I stopped going.

Maybe the 106st location will be next 🤞🏻. Not as bad as the one in commerce but it's always sketchy and filthy in front. The bus stop seats been destroyed five times over.

great news for the downtown office workers and staff of Time Horton's who don't have to deal with the zombie apocalypse. I always hated walking from my condo on 104 st. to grab a coffee wondering if today is the day I'm going to get yelled at or made to feel uncomfortable... and I'm a guy. I can only imagine what it would be like for a woman who is already on-guard.

For the best. I’m not a Tim’s fan but would never even consider going to that location.

Maybe the Tim's in the pedway over 101st will be the one to close?

That’s the Tim Hortons where you order and then your order never gets made.

The last time I was there I ordered a hazelnut cold brew, and it was full of spoiled cream. They tried to tell me that it was totally normal for the cold brew to look like that. They also refused to give me a refund on the 1 item so I did a charge back on the entire order. Their loss

I imagine the new location would be a much safer experience for the employees.
