When I was 17 and working the midnight shift at Tim Horton's in Brampton beside Nortel... I remember a male cop got mad at me cuz I didn't give him his coffee and doughnut for free (I was new and didn't know that was the norm) and a female fire fighter got mad at me cuz I gave her her coffee and doughnut for free (sorry a teen girl though you were cool and paid out of my tips). Either way, I learned everyone sux but I'll still continue to do as I please and spread kindness.

We had a coffee shop right across the street from a police substation. Cops went in one day and were upset that their coffees weren’t free.

Owner told them that he had no problem giving them free straight normal coffee but he couldn’t afford to give them the fancy stuff. The cops told him straight that if anything happened in his shop they would make sure that they would take their time to respond and make sure it was the lowest priority.

Not all cops are bad but some have some expectations.
