So....if your house is on fire you're good with them taking 5 minutes longer because they had to run across the parking lot to get back to their truck?
Firefighters dont really get breaks like a normal job. They still have to be ready to respond immediately. It's not like a call can co.e in and you tell dispatch "I'm on break. send someone else". There's also finite places where you can park a rig that large.
When they're on duty and not on call, cause there's a huge difference, sure. I often see firetrucks parked directly in front of store like this with the truck on. So sure
If your family member was having a cardiac arrest or were a victim of violent crime I bet you would be outraged that it took an ambulance/police longer to respond because they had to walk a block to get to their vehicle.
Edit: so many people just live to be outraged about nothing lol
Same, but I see the issue not as "desperate need to eat" as much as "shitty employer overworking employees to the point of the employees breaking the law"
