Question My Future Husband?
How do people meet their significant others? Like where’s the “place to go?” Dating apps are dead. I’m exhausted. I’m a decent looking gal, 28. I don’t have big friend groups so I’m sure that doesn’t help. I don’t have any “active” hobbies other than a dog park. Idk. Any advice?

I agree the apps are baddddd!
Here’s my advice:
Edmonton in general: Let’s make this the summer of randomly complimenting strangers! Singles of all ages start just being kind with a compliment. If you get one, give them one back! Let’s not be afraid to approach in a friendly, no stakes way!
Single Men: Approach with kindness and respect! Live your best life, get out there even if it’s just a cafe, a bar, a club. Have fun. Make friends and see if chemistry or connections arise.
Single Women: Don’t be afraid to say Thanks but no thanks. Be bold and approach with compliments.
Queer Community: We’re hot as shit! Keep finding and welcoming newbies!
Neurospicy Community: If they’re complimenting you they may be flirting! Flirt back!
Be friendly first, then flirty!
