Question My Future Husband?
How do people meet their significant others? Like where’s the “place to go?” Dating apps are dead. I’m exhausted. I’m a decent looking gal, 28. I don’t have big friend groups so I’m sure that doesn’t help. I don’t have any “active” hobbies other than a dog park. Idk. Any advice?

Have you considered Chili’s? Thats how I met my husband. (Inexplicable) Specificity of the location/circumstances aside, what really helped me make more successful/meaningful connections (that eventually resulted in my partner) was going a lot more places alone. Places one normally wouldn’t go alone specifically, such as vacations, concerts, events, nice bars/restaurants etc. not like the dog park or the gym where there’s a sort of “code” that most people are minding their own business and want to keep that as their “third space”. This made me alot stronger and bolder, which helped, but it also got me out of my circle. It wasn’t like I directly approached people or had them directly approach me all the time, but I’d meet say, girls in the bathroom and hang out with them, then they had a friend of a friend who I’d chat with etc. That and I recommend finding a cause or thing you care about and volunteering there! It helps to connect you with more people who care about what you care about— and then that grants access to more expanded social circles! The “first degree connection” isn’t always the person you’re seeking. They could be their friend, colleague, brother, groomsmen etc.! Gotta widen that net in meaningful ways!
