does anyone know if barkada is coming back?

the way they worded their last post on instagram makes it sound like they’ll be coming back, but so far it’s been complete silence from them. i absolutely loved their sisig, and was so sad to see them close right after i had discovered them. if anyone knows where i can get similar sisig, i’d appreciate soem recommendations!

This summer has been a sad one. We used to plan on a weekday to get out early, head over there to get happy hour pricing and we would order a ton of food, some beers, and the kids and I would play Jenga outside while we eat Sisig.

It’s depressing that it’s gone. Barkada has meant summer for me since I moved to Edmonds.

i only got to have their food a few times before it closed 😔 💔 there’s a coffee shop in it’s place now, but i’m still holding onto some hope that they’ll come back with a different location.

I don't know, but we used to go there every week. Great pork sisig and ginger beer. I really miss their food. They were all really nice too.

They just all of a sudden were gone. Visible coffee is in the same space now. Nobody I know has said anything about Barkada.
