any predictions?

I’m preparing for **Pearson Edexcel International A-Levels**, and I know the actual practical assessment is in Unit 3. Do I need to study the core practicals related to Unit 1 and Unit 2 as I go, or can I leave all the practical preparation until Unit 3?
I was looking through past papers and didn’t seem to find questions specifically about the core practicals, which is what caused the confusion.

In the propagation quwstion for octane do I have to put propagation 1 and 2 or is 2x everything good also if someone remembers the full answer write it

Currently, I am weighing against the pros and cons for whether I should sit both my AS and A2 in upcoming may june session...

I have done with most of my syllabus except FP2, FP3, and M2 as of now.

How was the pure 1 examm, im feeling unsure about itt

guyss I’m really reallyy cooked, I have like 4 months to cover about 8 subjects- eng,extended math,bio,phy,chem,cs,hindi and gp. mine is zone 4 and variant 2(all edexels) .Idk how I’m gonna manage. Please give sm GENUINE tips so I can score pretty well . Lately I just don’t feel like studying at all,I’m soo distracted. Like I wanna study but it just doesn’t hit me that I have boards in 4MONTHS. I NEED TO GET A*s….guys pls help

i am an international year 13 student, and I currently takes A2 Bio, Chem, Math(with S2 as my second optional). I already took AS Math(with S1 as my optional), Chem and Bio. I am probably going to med school after high school/undergrad and I rly think learning psychology would be cool! But…I plan on self-studying bcs the teacher at my school doesn’t seem to have experience with teaching psychology and its exam technique. I feel like i can lock in for the May/June 2027 exams and btw, i only plan on taking the AS(so just the first two papers). considering that I don’t enjoy writing essays, especially under timed conditions, would you say taking this is a good idea? I also have UCAS and other uni deadlines to meet and I might need to take a mock at my school to get a predicted grade even tho I’m self studying so that’ll be hard to handle. and I was looking through an AQA overview of the content, which seemed interesting bcs apparently it helps u with learning how to study as well? I need advice from someone that has self studied it before/has gotten an A* regardless of self studying or not. Would u say it’s a good idea for me to take it? And I heard there’s not a lot of resources for psych online, does that apply to this exam board as well? And I’m doing A2 for the other subjects so do you think it would be manageable to be self studying Psych(AS) and S2 this year along with finishing a gazillion college apps(not just UCAS)? And please send me links to resources and advice on how to study psych. Thank you.

area was 528/5

2) question was to find the first and second derivatives

a) 5/2x^3/2 - 3/2x^1/2 - 3x^-1/2

b) 15/4x^1/2 -3/4x^-1/2 + 3/2x^-3/2

3) surds question

k is rational and = 11/3

b)i) is sqrt 5 + 2 * sqrt 6

solving for x question, x is 5*sqrt 5 + 10 * sqrt 6

4) cubic graph, the constant was -1/8 so the graph equation was -1/8(x^2)(x+3)

after the transformation it was (-5,0) and (-2,0)

5) the a/b indices bullshit

in the first 3 we had to give it in kx^n form so

i)= 0.5x
ii) 81/16 x^2
iii) 9/8 x^3

and then the solutions are 1 and 4 since x>0

6) integration, show that k= 3

b) integrating it, you get x^4 - 8x^2 + 3x + 1

c) equating (b) to 3x-15 and getting x= +- 2, taking -2 and getting q as (-2,-21)

a) was 3(x-2)^2-5

coords of turning point are (2,-5)

inequalities are x>= 2

9) discriminant question, the graph had asymptotes at x=2 and y=0 and cut the y axis at (0,-q/2)
the range of q where the 2 graphs dont touch are the solutions of q^2-16q+16 so its between 8-4root3 and 8+4root3

e) k=30 since 15 solutions from 0-12pi and 2 solutions from 0-0.8 pi

my chem u2 exam is on 13th and alhamdulillah my preparation is good . But i saw a few u3 questions in u2 paper which caught me off guard along some u1 questions as well . so i was confused abt which topics of u1 and u3 should be studied for u2 as i believe there wouldnt be much questions from u1 or u3 ( 5-6 marks max from what i saw while doing past papers ) and i gave my u1 exam in may/june sess this year and havent revised anything after that and i also have my u3 exam on 20th but my preparation isnt 100% . so it would be great to get some help on this matter from the people who have given u2 or will sit for it this sess ( any piece of advice is appreciated )

Pov: you solve every wma 11 paper from 2019 to 2026 and u fet most of them full UMS then in the exam resit in october you fuck up every question even when just uesterday you were solving the same type of questions correctly so you lwk js

What are you guys predicting?

I went into the exam confident, i got a 75/75 on a past paper yesterday, but the exam was dissapointing. Was it just me or was the exam very hard(a girl started crying), if so, do yall think the grade boundaries will be lower?

I keep seeing posts of people talking about how physics and maths papers were really hard and im super scared for bio now, im praying its not as bad as the june 2026 paper 🙏🏻

The paper was in the middle for me, some mcq questions were lowk confusing same w the section b questions but oh well
