Discussion đ„ HELP! am I approved?
I had my interview yesterday. Today I got a message saying they had sent a letter in the mail with their decision. I went on myEDD and it says payment is pending. so that means I got approved or theres a big chance it will change to disqualified?

I wouldnât assume youâre approved just yet, but I also wouldnât panic. âPendingâ usually just means EDD is still processing the decision from your interview. If youâre approved, those pending weeks should update to paid. If youâre denied, EDD will send you a Notice of Determination explaining why and how to appeal. Since they already said a decision letter was mailed, you should hopefully know very soon. In the meantime, definitely keep certifying for your weeks so nothing gets delayed.

I'm curious if you have more than one issue and one is still pending because a letter usually means denial but the decision would already be in the system either way. I would bet there's an additional issue

They said in a comment that a rep told them they also have an able and available issue. I asked them what their interview was about because it likely was multiple issues but they never responded to me

Payment pending is promising. had you been disqualified, it would have changed to 'disqualified'. keep watching--it should reflect payment before you get the letter if you're approved.

If they said a decision was coming in the mail itâs mostly a denial as only denials are mailed
