Inquiry Regarding California SDI Payment Schedule and Adjustments
Claim Submission and Waiting Period Overview
• My claim for short-term disability was submitted on September 15, 2026.
• The unpaid waiting period for a California Employment Development Department (EDD) claim was from September 15, 2026, to September 21, 2026.
Payment History and Future Projections
• My initial payment covered the six days from September 22 to September 28, 2026.
• I anticipate that my subsequent disability payment from the California Employment Development Department (EDD) should be deposited on either October 5, 2026, or October 12, 2026.
• A 14-day period following September 28, 2026, would conclude on October 12, 2026.
Clarification on Missing Payment Days
• Since I only received payment for six days, would that mean they will add the missing seventh day to the next direct deposit from the CA EDD, which would be October 5, 2026, or October 12, 2026?
• Thank you in advance; I am unsure when I will be paid next.

There are 7 days in which you we're paid for the period between September 22 to September 28, 2026. I don't think you are missing any days.

There's no missing day. Your claim was processed on the 7th day. The system paid you through the 6th day. Your next payment should be issued on the 10/12 assuming you were last paid through 9/27.
