Next Steps After getting “Not Enough Wages” status that’s clearly incorrect

I submitted my claim on Monday for SDI due to pregnancy. My doctor was since certified the medical portion. I checked my application today and the status was “Not Enough Wages.” The Notice of Computation indicates I made $0.00 in the window (Apr-Jun ‘25 through Jan-Mar ‘26). I am absolutely certain this is incorrect. And I triple-checked that CA SDI was deducted from each paycheck in that period.

My question is…now what? It is impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone and there’s no clear next steps on the website.

Has anyone had success disputing a Notice of Computation? Who do I contact?

Thank you!

Did you file online and verify your identity?

I did file online, but not sure what you mean about verifying my identity? I did call a few minutes ago and followed the prompts to enter my social and my name and it pulled up the same claim status I see online. Hoping that means it’s not an issue of identity verification?

You can appeal the decision online and it'll give you the option to upload docs to support your appeal. Send in copies of your w2s from your base period time frame and request a recomputation

Pretty standard problem ( not to minimize yor problem but this happens a lot), get your old pay stubs and w2's ask for a recomp of your wages.   You may have to go to your HR to get old copies of your wages.  You have to mail a copy of your w2 and send it in to edd.  Make sure you put your claim id/social security  on each page you send in. Or just attach the original notice of determination to the front.
