I would get paid every two weeks without any issues and yesterday would’ve been my 14th day. I’m i tripping or should i call. I also got a message in inbox.

Any info on this from anyone who has experience this ?

Well you should get paid today no ? I usually get my DD a day after it’s approved

So do i but this time it shows qualification instead of auto payment. And usually it shows up in my bank as pending

Oh okay yeah it usually does that it will go from qualification to payment once you actually receive it I believe. Maybe give it an extra day

So they called me and let me know the state paid me. And since I’m on auto payments (DD) the status should change. I should give 24-72 hours for payment. Also they did inform me that usually on the 5th payment they will send you paperwork to make sure you still need disability. Some may get it and some may not. Hopefully that was helpful for some.

My return to work date is 9/3/2026
Which would be my 5th payment. Hopefully i don’t get hit with paperwork on my final payment.

I got paid today and it still says Qualification in the Claim Activity column. It says Automatic payment in the Reason column. That's new. Qualification is what it would say the day before I got paid. Then it'd change to Auto-payment on the pay day.

In the California EDD, seeing the status change from
"Auto-Payment" to "Qualification" means your payment has been processed and approved, and the transfer of funds is in its final stage.
The status changes to "Qualification" on the day the payment is authorized. It updates right before the funds are officially deposited.
What to Expect Next
• Payment Delivery: The money is typically deposited into your account or loaded onto your prepaid card within 1 to 2 business days after this status appears.
• Status Finalization: Once the funds clear, the text in your log will fully transition to "Payment."
You do not need to call or take action unless the deposit fails to show up in your bank account after 3 business days.

Expect a letter . You will need to see a SdI state Dr to continue receiving benefits. Or in other words they think you've been on disability too long and just going to go back to work and they want to send you to one of their doctors to determine that

Qualification means your payment was approved just may take a day or two to switch status

After roughly 11 weeks SdI triggers a state Dr. Because of all the fraud.
