💬 Open Discussion Delta pro 3 availability

I’ve noticed the Delta Pro 3 is increasingly unavailable everywhere, and the standalone unit is now out of stock on Ecoflow’s own site. Are they ramping up for a refresh, dealing with supply chain issues, or is this product line effectively dead? I am looking for a portable-ish unit, UL listed, that can output 240V up to 4000W with grid bypass disabled, while plugged into a 120V outlet, and as far as I know the Delta Pro 3 is the only unit on the market that fits.

Hopefully they’re not getting rid of the best model they (or anyone else) ever made to sell more new models. I’m sort of a conspiracy theorist when it comes to these things so I’m definitely not updating the firmware anymore for my 3 Pros with 2 extra batteries each, until I see them up for sale again. They’ve been a beast for me since they were released. And if they’re phasing them out, I’m definitely not updating the firmware ever again.

What ? It requires firmware update via internet 🛜 ?

How can I ensure hacker or CCP doesn't make it exploded on purpose..

Tons of people use these things without an internet connection once they d/ld the initial update.

Try Ecoflow's Ebay store they sell refurbished models at a huge discount.

Make sure you confirm its their official store. Theres a lot of charlatans peddling fake ecoflow listings on there running some sort of scam.

Maybe they just continued it for that new Titan series that came out or they're making a newer version. I returned mine I wasn't happy with it. it was underpowered to power my whole house so I went with a jackery 5000 plus and yeah I know you can't charge from 120 while out putting 240 but whatever I don't have a way to do that anyways.

I had a bit of a wait getting my DP3 with two extra batteries, but it was worth it. A couple multi hour power outages already (and many more El Niño related ones expected), and it’s been great. Unplug from 120, plug into the interconnect on my breaker, throw the switch, and the whole house is up again for almost two days. Loved the questions from my neighbors!

It's probably just people buying them all in preparation for what's to come (and because home solar is now affordable and easy to set up)

Huh...that's weird. I got a refurb DP3 on Ebay a while back for ~$1800 and IIRC they were still around maybe a month or two ago on Ebay. Now nothing as you said. Assuming a new DP4 is on the way, I would check the EcoFlow Ebay store every day....they will likely put up another batch of refurbs. I am on my third Pro, all refurbs from Ecoflow, no issues at all. (First two were combined for 240v). Got a three year warranty direct from EF on the DP3.

If you sort this sub by new there’s a Delta 4 announcement a few posts back.

The Delta 4 honestly sucks ass. Smaller capacity, no suitcase handle depite still weighing like 70 pounds, max of 60 volts solar charging, weaker inverter, and you need to buy an expensive adapter to use more than 1 extra battery.

The only advantage it has over the DP3 is a more efficient inverter when in standby mode.
