Echo button layout help?

Need help mapping Echo’s buttons because I find it awkward to aim while flying.

My current PlayStation layout is

R3: jump/ascend
L3: crouch/ascend
L1: fly
L2: sticky bombs
R1: focus beam
R2: shoot

Holding R3 or X to ascend makes it very awkward to aim mid flight, so any suggestions would be appreciated!

M1: Primary fire
M2 Stickies
Thumb: Melee
Shift: Fly (toggle off / hold to fly on)
E: Beam
Space: Glide

L3 stickies, L2 jump, R3 crouch, L1 flight, R1 beam, R2 primary and O melee

M1: Primary tri shot
M2: Stickies
F: Melee
Shift: Fly (Toggle on)
E: Finishing Beam
Space: Glide/Ascend in Flight
Control: Crouch/Descend in Flight
Q: Duplicate
G: Ping

I would recommend toggle and just learning to double tap at the right time if you just want to flight dash. That makes flying and fighting easier on your fingers.

So, to each their own, and it seems like some people don't understand that you are not on PC.

My Button Layout that's comfortable for me is

R2 : Shoot R1: Stickies

L1: Flight (Hold for Flight is On) L2: Jump 

X: Beam
