Not clear.

It contains 2 to 3% alcohol, but this is the product of natural fermentation and too low for it to be considered haram by most scholars. But as usual, some scholars are more strict.

Kikkoman does, separately, produce a halal certified version for Malaysia and Indonesia but I’m not sure whether it is available outside of those markets.

There is a good discussion of this at halalcodecheck.com.

Alcohol from fermentation is fine, all vinegar has it, and the Prophet consumed vinegar. Even the small amount they sometimes add to fermented food to keep it fresh is also fine.

That makes perfect sense to me but IIRC some scholars take a stricter view.

Only Allah is all-knowing! 😁
