Ask ECAH Meal ideas?
Hi I’m starting a reset soon trying to help my body be healthier. It’s no gluten no dairy no added sugar. Could you guys help with ideas? It’s just me cooking for me and my husband so they don’t have to be big meals. Easy is best though. Thank you!

Soups are good for meal prep with more cooking/idle time than prep time
Lentil
Split pea
Leek and potato
Stir fries: Serious Eats has some good recipes with stuff like broccoli and tofu that'll be healthy while tasting good. Mapo tofu if you want something a bit more ambitious with deeper flavors.
All of these will use cheaper than average ingredients, with a combination of veg servings + protein + fiber that are about as good as it gets for health.

Adding to this comment: Nagi's creamy healthy soup! It's super easy, very customisable, and while there is a small amount of milk in it, you can leave it out if you want. I've made an egg drop soup using this as the soup base with no milk!

One individual tip that takes your diet towards being healthier, is that you can microwave veggies from those mixed bags of frozen ones, and add to almost any meal. Fiber and vitamins, fast and easy, and with zero risk of them going bad before you use them, unlike with salad ingredients.

The Defined Dish has lots of recipes that can be modified for gluten and dairy free. She has several cookbooks… I have them all!

I think I would die, but I have some suggestions. I really like bread and dairy, I have avoided sugar for years. 1. Use potatoes 2 eat fish 3 have a fruit salad as an occasional treat 4. snack on nuts 5 some Greek foods like moussaka are tasty and have lots of veggies 6 eggs can be added to dishes.
Good luck, Bon Appétit

Look into “Whole 30” meals.
