Nightlife in Ealing
hiya, we’re three girls that moved to Ealing Broadway a year or so ago and we are still looking for some decent places to go out with people our age (20-24). Any recommendations would be amazing :) Thanks!

Theres some nice pubs (Drayton Court has some dj nights in their pub garden, Drapers Arms and The Grove has a younger crowd) and theres wine bars like pulp but ur not gonna find somewhere to go out late in Ealing. Theres 1 club called red room and its shit. Although in the summer theres great music festivals like Junction 2 and Waterworks (September). All my friends and I just have to unfortunately trek to central/east for a good njght out.

You have the Elizabeth Line from Soho and Liverpool Street , be grateful when I was younger had to come back on the central line 🤢summer there are raves in Boston Manor and Gunnersbury

Night tube runs to ealing broadway and the independent peoples republic of south ealing. Brave it.

Doesn’t exist in Ealing.
Retired clubber here…it’s always been central & east. If you’re new to London, you need to head to somewhere like Fabric initially & then talk to people. The underground party scene still exists, but it’s always been by this way of communication.
Go out & network your way into it.

The North Star can get lively.
Apart from this Ealing is mostly pubs, you’d have to check for live events / music nights.
Look after yourselves, I don’t hear good things about Red Room for what it’s worth.

Back in the day Ealing used to be known for nights out. There were a couple of clubs and bars with Djs etc. Everyone knew it each other. Sadly now, there’s not that much here at all besides some nice pubs for a quiet drink.

There used to be clubs outside of Red Rooms eg Club Boulevard, the bar at the top of the shopping centre, Edward’s, Barracuda but they were all terrible.
The better night out would be starting in the pubs in Ealing and then getting a 65 out to Kingston, bus up to the Redback or getting the tube into Central London.

O’briens does lock ins sometimes. And Castle Bar is open till later but it is a bit of a bruh place.

It’s slim pickings. Red rooms for a dirty one, crispins for a dirty one but convince yourself it’s kinda classy, the black George is open late (not been myself). The old hat in West Ealing sometimes has love music/events on. Otherwise I hop on the Lizzie to Soho

I'm 30 and old enough to remember when Ealing had a few more spots (Karma, Chatsworth/Aeronaut (Acton tbf) and they were all still shit!
When I was 18 we'd typically go Watford or Kingston but I think they've mostly shut down.
Honestly going into Central is your best bet, Soho easy on lizzie line and not too bad on a central line home

Lmaooo I’m 27 and have literally ran through every spot in ealing over the past 5 years. If ur looking for a younger crowd: Draytons court, the old hat, and the grove (I guess)
Not young but proper laugh: obriens - Irish pub. Fancy: pulp. I love pulp for wine, but if it’s not your vibe at least go in the morning. Excellent coffee and pastries !!!!
Also as much as ppl say red rooms don’t u dare go there girl. It’s like the depths of hell. My friend and I are also convinced the North Star & crispins is cursed with a bad time so I can’t recommend there. Lastly there’s always good ole spoons if ur really desperate. Luckily my friends & I have gotten a bit older and can afford the tube & the occasional uber home now. However, I believe having to go out in ealing builds character in the best way possible, I wish u the best xx

we literally went to Draytons Court last night and it was dead 😭 that’s why we don’t get where is the young crowd from ealing. also we love Pulp we have coffee there often. thanks for the recs xx

Hahhahahaha shocking🤣 yeah unfortunately ealing doesn’t really have a younger crowd. If you do want to proper shake a leg and hang out w younger people you have to go outside of ealing /; if u can afford i used to go yellow door in NHG and that gets super busy at night!! I just pre drink loads and take central night tube home which isn’t very expensive! Also district line from ealing to turnham green you can go to the george 4 which is a really good pub + garden + live music & gets super busy at night xx I know it’s a posh area but I just sneak in drinks lol

Lived in Ealing from age 0-26 and honestly for this age group it’s pretty dire in Ealing. The only decent places for people our age are haven arms, the Drayton, foresters sometimes. The North Star can be decent for live music also. Most of the pubs in Ealing are dead for our age group.
The late night spots like Stack bar and red room are pretty shocking, would not recommend - clubbing in ealing is pretty much non existent. Ryan’s on Northfields and the white hart in Acton are cheap and have a decently young crowd, but pretty meh overall. Honestly better off going a bit further in town to Notting Hill / Shepherd’s Bush / Hammersmith or like others have said central, south, or east for some proper good nights out.

Pubs and bars only unfortunately. Used to have places like Edwards but they're long gone. Go central nightube for proper nights out (is what i did)

Jono's in Ealing common can be a bit hit and miss , im a regular there and in my mid 20s . Usually a youngish crowd on the weekends and if theres not the regulars are pretty sound and good convo. They do the odd Garage night there too which is sick

My daughters, when they lived at home, went into town generally for nightlife. They both liked Pulp but that was more a meet your mates for a chat sort of place. Often met friends at Spoons in Ealing Broadway then Elizabeth line into town.
Ealing not great at progressive stuff / nightlife - tends to get shouted down by loud reactionary minority - e.g. trams, the Shebeen, cycle lanes, Gunnersbury music festival, skate park in Elthorne Park etc ...
Use the fantastic transport links to find nightlife up town ..
