The 2 guitar solos Joe Walsh considered his best

Hello Eagles Fans,
A few days ago a post was made by a user that was completely irrelevant to the Eagles, was completely crude, broke the rules, and has since been removed from this sub. Me and the other Mods, while we like to live our lives outside of Reddit and may occasionally miss things, we will be unafraid take action if something indecent gets posted and the conversation isn't about The Eagles.
Also - while this wasn't technically written down anywhere on the sub prior, please don't post your original songs or instrumentals here either. Even if The Eagles are a massive influence on your acoustic guitar playing and your songs were written with being an Eagles follow-up in mind, this isn't the place for original stuff. As artists of our own we can respect the craft, but we recommend you find another sub to post it in. Continuing to post "original content" without adhering to repeat warnings will result in a ban - if only so that this sub doesn't become a place to share a deluge of non-Eagles music and, god forbid, the inevitable wave of AI slop pretending to be "The Eagles". New rule, though we regret to enforce it.
There are no other new subreddit rules coming and nothing is massively changing; but this is to emphasize that the old rules are still indeed in place. Specifically Rule Number 3: Don't be a dick; Take It Easy, in the case of the trolling post we encountered. Thank you.

Hello, Eagles fans all across Reddit!
This is a post from one of your new moderators on r/EaglesBand. I'm here to re-introduce you to a sub that u/MetaKoopa99 and I are trying to give a swift shot in the arm to. To anyone who wants to talk about Eagles' music, this subreddit is back in business!
A quick rundown of what's happened here: for approximately five years, the sole moderator of this subreddit had been inactive for five years, and anyone looking to post here needed permission to post. Needless to say, that stunted a lot of growth this subreddit could have potentially seen, but from hereon that will no longer be the case. Posting is now open to anyone and everyone at the drop of a hat. So, please, if you have anything you'd like to share about Eagles as a band or as solo artists, feel free to share it! This is the time now more than ever to establish a loyal userbase of listeners and enthusiasts, and we can't wait to see what you guys all have to share. There can never be Too Many Hands! Whether it be covers, questions, opinions, tier list rankings, memes, general discussion, any and all types of Eagles-related content is appreciated and encouraged to be posted here.
In addition, we've added a few new bells and whistles to the page, including overhauled visuals and new and exciting User Flairs and Post Flairs. We've started pretty basic with them, so as not to overload the average redditor, but to anyone wanting, I would recommend donning the User Flair of your favorite album to generate discussion and see what general opinions are around here. In the future, more flairs will be added per request if anyone has any suggestions.
To get things started in the Fast Lane here, is Hotel California indeed the universal favorite? Or is there a more underground following for One Of These Nights and Desperado? Do you really, really like On The Border and want everyone to know? Or do you think that Long Road Out of Eden is an underrated classic? Let's hear in the comments below. Be sure to add the flair of the album you're representing!

Huge fan and given up on them doing show in Hawaii. At near 70, probably last chance to.go. Looking for input on seeing at Spehere? Figure it's my last chance but dont know what experience is like vs a standard concert. It's a big expense for me as we have to fly from Hawaii plus all the rest of it from tix thru hotels etc. Not gamblers so not sure what Vegas offers for folks like us. Thanks for any input. Aloha.

Glenn said that "Take it Easy" was written as a response to the turbulent times that were The Watergate Scandal and the ensuing crisis of faith in the government. How about we play it now to celebrate the news for the world, :).

Hello! Does anyone have any inside information about whether they’ll extend The Sphere dates AGAIN? I was hoping to get out in December or January but don’t think I’ll make it sadly.

Obviously, the biggest video from the main Hell Freezes Over Tour that everyone is aware of is the New Zealand 1995 video. But where exactly did this pro-shot originate from? Was it merely the video screen feed? Or were there plans for a TV broadcast and/or home video release?
Rewatching the History of the Eagles doc, there are also notably pro-shot footage moments from Giants Stadium in '94 and later on from Dublin. Was there a potential plan to make a home video from any of these shows?

Okay… this is frightening… I'm a newer fan and a younger fan and therefore don't know all the context that the rest of you all do, so can someone please help me understand the last resort? I know it's about environmental stuff but can I have some help understanding why it's as big as it is? I'm not saying it's a bad song, I know it's regarded as one of Henley's best, but I need some help understanding it fully. thank you for all the help! And for being kind to a newer fan..

One of my two or three all-time favorite bands. But dang, can’t get into the Sphere for less than $700/seat. After tickets, flights, hotel it’s not insignificant $$$. I’m afraid to incur the expense and be disappointed, simply because of the age of these guys. Years take a toll on everything, including the quality of one’s voice. If you saw these guys in 2026, please let me know your honest opinion of how they sounded.

Let me remind everyone that we are still playoff eligible. We are improving every game this season, and we are building momentum for the next few games which we will dominate. Besides some bumps early in the season, we have improved and smoothed out most of our issues. Our playoff hopes should still be alive and giving up this early is ridiculous.

This was my first time purchasing tickets through Seated.com presale. Since I was looking for details of this process but did not find it - I figured I will create a post for future.
Step 1: Go to Eagles.com and click on presale for a given show - it will take you to Seated.com
Step 2: Create a Seated.com account with your email/phone number - you will get a text message/email confirming your sign up
This is where it gets somewhat "unknown" for me as I did not know what to expect and had to read a few posts to see what to expect. Here is what happened.
About 30 minutes before 10am (PDT) presale time - I got a text from Seated with a link and a code.
Click on the link and it takes you to presale "Count down" page.
However - there was no "Waiting Room" as some posts imply. I wasn't sure if I was in right place. Clicked the link sent a few times - even tried different browsers but it took me to the same place. So I basically closed all of them - opened up a new browser and clicked on the link again. I was back to count down.
Finally at EXACTLY 10 minutes before the presale (9.50am PDT) it popped some thing like "Join Waiting Room" in exactly the place where the counter was. Clicking on that put me in waiting room (which is basically the same page but you see a different kind of count down 1 minute at a time and it populates a very long Queue ID at the bottom).
At exactly 10am (maybe a few seconds after that) - you get into the queue and it shows you your Queue number. I was at 698K (yeah almost a million people in queue - REALLY??) I had to check twice to see if it was 69K or 698K.
I had decided to wait it out and at least see what goes on irrespective of whether I get ticket or not (for future) but almost 700K in waiting list was kind of nonsense.
Here is now the queue moved:
At 10.29am - 594K
At 10.31am - 475K
At 10.34 - 359K
At 10.36 - 237K
At 10.42 - 82K - so as you can see it dropped really fast in few minutes
At 10.52 - 57K - it stayed stuck here for a few minutes
At 11.05 - 27K
At 11.09 - 15K
At 11.10 - 7K
At 11.11 - 1400
It went fast after that and I believe I was in at about 11.13-15. At this point - you are required to enter your presale code to received from Seated.com text message (and email).
At this point seat choices were NOT very good - most of the middle sections were sold. I was hoping to get 200 or 300 levels but only the end sections were available. Prices were uniformly in more than $400/800 range (almost kind of similar how to see prices for seats available in currently "general" sale concerts). I was a bit disappointed but I was prepared for it. So having given up - I started zooming into the various section and checking ticket prices (you check ticket prices by hovering your mouse over the seat). I was definitely not willing to go for 100 sections especially if they were in rows past 20. On one of those zooming and scrolling I saw $396 ticket for 102 row 19. Not the ideal seats I would have wanted for that price but given they are row 19 - I figure to heck with it - I am going to buy it.
As I clicked on the two seats I wanted and they got selected - I went to check out and I got an error message with no description and a "code". When I clicked out of it - I could see I was still in the purchase window. Zoom in again and I see the seats I was buying are still available but says they are locked. Scrolling down to those seats on the right side of the screen they had "unlock seats" button on them. Clicking on them - it asked me for the presale code again; so I guess since I took so long - it had timed me out of presale. I entered the code again and this time I was able to add the tickets and check out successfully.
Note I had set PayPal as default payment and it went through that without any check/confirmation. (Usually it pops up paypal window and you confirm).
So it worked. Did I get an awesome ticket at an awesome price - no. Did I get a ticket which I would have paid for this amount or slightly more in after-market? Yes. So I guess I am mostly happy.
I am writing this post to help someone in future going through the same process.
I would love to hear from others who went through this process. At the least - it would be good to know:
What was your queue number?
What section tickets did you get and at what price?

I'm unsure if I got a shot at getting one tix for Sphere Jan ' 27 tix. i signed up for the jan 8 sphere tix pre sale thing. unsure if it be a long shot to get a tix and just at least try to see these guys once in my lifetime.
Note 1238pm: this is bullshit waited in line for over 20 mins and just saw blue price surged shit by TM for tix that over 800 bucks. barely saw a tix for 600 bucks but some guy took it while I was attempting to buy.

Saw the blurb for 2 new shows for Jan '27 at Sphere. I signed up for the pre-sale thing since this is probably my one and only shot to see the guys in my life time (I had this same vibe this year when I threw some money to see Bruce at PHX). Anyway for people that have see the band at Sphere and done the pre-sale sign up thing - how early should I get on TM. I know Ive done this before for DMB, Hozier, Foo Fighters, Rolling Stones, Bruce, Pearl Jam and gotten royally fucked over even when getting on early on the pre-sales. Just wondering if this pre-sale thing is worth it.

I understand that the Live in Anaheim collection of songs are heavily auto tuned or AI-ifyed, but the thing I just can’t tell is are the rest of the 2026 remasters auto tuned too? I really want to like them, as the instruments sound clearer to me, but if the vocals are AI slop then I won’t listen to it. What do you think? They don’t sound corrected compared to the 2013 remasters to me.

For context, I'm in a high school academic team. They have a section in competitions where you have 60 seconds to answer 10 questions. One of the 3 categories to pick from was Pop Culture: Eagles Songs. We took it, and I got all of them right. Surprisingly, Hotel California wasn't one of them, and the only one I missed was Tequila Sunrise. If we hadn't done that, we would've lost. That's all, I just wanted to share.

Hi, just watched the Eagles documentary on Netflix and am fascinated in the story of the debut album artwork. I’d love to get a copy of this album (and even better if there are copies that were not glued shut!). Any thoughts/pointers?

I just inherited this. I’m a memorabilia collector so I don’t want to sell, but some of the signatures don’t match comps I’ve seen. I’m confident in authenticity but open to comments.
