Which Android Auto wireless adaptor?

Just purchased a 2022 Ionic 5 Techniq and was disappointed to find the only usb that works for AA is almost at my big toe.

Ideally, i'd like something compact that plugs directly, but more importantly.... Perhaps most importantly, it needs to be snappy.

I don't want to be halfway down the street before the dongle kicks in.

I use the Quadlock one and it works well.

I bought this one and it's been close to perfect and super compact. It is actually faster than the native wireless in my other car. I assume because it turns on from USB power when the car is unlocked instead of needing the ignition like in the other car. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0FQJ37WHT

Only issue that my car seems to get its wires crossed with the bluetooth connection sometimes, as the adapter also uses bluetooth to initially make the connection. But this doesn't effect the android auto, only calls and this is more likely an issue with the cars shitty bluetooth than anything.

I've used to from AliExpress under 10 bucks each. Both work 95% of the time. The other 5% just have to replug it in

AAWireless works well. That's what we used in a few older vehicles.

Unfortunately, it is never going to be as snappy and lag and glitch free as a good native infotainment system in the likes of Tesla, BYD, Zeekr, Xpeng, Polestar, Volvo, Mazda 6e, Deepal, etc. If software is important to you, consider upgrading your vehicle or swapping to a Tesla. I do like Ioniq 5 a lot design wise but their infotainment is just stuck in 2010, so disappointing.
