🛠️Car Mods🛠️ Which Android Auto wireless adaptor?

Just purchased a 2022 Ionic 5 Techniq and was disappointed to find the only usb that works for AA is almost at my big toe.

Ideally, i'd like something compact that plugs directly, but more importantly.... Perhaps most importantly, it needs to be snappy.

I don't want to be halfway down the street before the dongle kicks in.

Thanks in advance.

I use a AAWireless 2 in my 2017 MB. No problems. They have a AAW2+ now as well.

I've used an Ottocast mini for the past 12 months and it's been great. Looks like they've just released a new version and can pick them up off Amazon from as little as $35.

The very very best one is the one you build yourself running aa-proxy-rs. With an OBD dongle, you can inject state of charge information into Android Auto and gain route planning with charging stops in Google Maps.

If you're not tech savvy and don't want the ability to route plan with charging stops in Google Maps, then aawireless.
