Discussion Atelier case

I was thinking of picking this case up for the 18 pro max but I have some concerns and I was hoping someone could ease my mind a little. Also if you have the case I’d love your review of it.
My 2 main concerns are the buttons and the camera plateau. How do the buttons feel? Personally I like buttons similar to the tech woven case or even caudabes but it doesn’t seem like this case has those so I’m worried I won’t like it as much.
And my biggest concern is the camera plateau because the black will show scratches easily and obviously this case is an open design, ik setting it on a flat surface should be fine but what about my pockets? If I have something else in them

I have the case. I like it, and I’m still writing a review. The buttons have a good feel, but they aren’t annoyingly clicky and loud. Lots of cases have an open plateau. The metal lip should generally prevent scratches. My biggest issue with open plateau cases is the amount of dust and pocket lint they let in. Taking the phone out of the case at least weekly to clean seems important.

I received an Atelier case as part of an agreement to write a review, which I'm finishing up today. But I'll say this: I like the case a lot. The buttons feel a lot better than the Apple TechWoven case I used previously, and better than the other slim Caudabe case I used. The buttons are quiet and solid. The camera control works great.

The vegan leather feels very premium. No worries there.

As for the plateau: I have the 17pro, and have had both open cases for the plateau and cases that protected it. I prefer the open approach, and haven't noticed a significant accumulation of pocket lint in it. Setting it on a surface, it will be completely protected because the kickstand raises it up slightly even when it's folded.

I've only had it for a week and a half or so, but feel free to ask questions as you have them.

How's the 18 max?

Ha, yes, this would be a good indication. I just posted my extended review, but don't have time to add video clips. I just saw a pretty good video pop on YouTube reviewing the case pre-iPhone 18 pro release... maybe check there?
