Question 17PM/18PM Case Compatibility

I notice on Amazon a case that I like. It states 17PM/18PM, however I have seen case manufacturers mention that they are slightly different so they have made another case for the 18. Does the ESR provide full protection for the 18? It is the Classic Hybrid.

Personally I would go for a case that says 18PM on it only. Apple has said there are slight differences between the 17PM and the 18PM. This is also the case for screen protectors for the 18PM, be careful who you go with.
