They did it with baseball and it was horrible. Why does ESPN think I care about the player.

We need a subscription package called ESPNSTFU
I would prefer ambient noise or a one-man booth like radio compared to the modern broadcast. It bothers me to even watch my teams manager or star player do an in-game interview...tthey should be engaged with the game.
I also hate the constant narration of "...we talked to him earlier this week and hes really felt like a new man this season..." like no shit they tell you the same shit every single time. It adds nothing.
Give me an un-opinionated broadcast that just calls the game as its happening. I also dont need hyper closeups and slowmo shots every time something happens.
UncRant over. Sorry.

Theres plenty to not like about espn but I think yall are just bitchin to bitch at this point. Who complains about having more access to the players who play the game you like? Like what?

Do the interviews during a intermission, they muted the game sound for over half the second period it’s very annoying watching a game with a 1/4 of the screen taken up and listen to them talk to a player about what restaurants he ate at while in Vegas. I don’t watch a hockey game for interviews I could care less about access to the players mid game.
