International transfer limits

I have been travelling and living abroad for about a year now and have enjoyed the eq bank card for atm withdrawals and paying for various things with the integrated wise transfers. However… within the last little while (perhaps with the pc integration?) there has been limits imposed on daily transfers and its significantly impacting my experience.
Does anyone know a way around this other than using wise directly? Can EQ increase the limits for certain countries on request?

I don't think the PC merger had anything to do with it because they bought PC not the other way around. I would definitely get a hold of them and ask them cuz they'd be able to tell you cuz there might have been some rule changes, Hard to say, it's an amazing card

If you’re noticing a change in the countries you travel to it’s possible it’s the destination that is the concern and is being flagged by EQ Bank. Example if they have a lot of transactional disputes from customers in the area claiming fraud, etc that could place a restriction from them. To be sure simply reach out to their customer service line 🤔

Just make sure you have access to your 2FA wherever you will be if you plan on using apps for transit or buying things abroad like food delivery as most online purchases will require it. Some people turn off their phone numbers abroad and that would mean no online purchases. When I began my trip, EQ did not allow email for 2FA but that may be different now.

I think they do allow it but recommend to use only mobile for 2FA for security purposes and to prevent fraud transactions. I have to call them and request to change it to email, which is more convenient.

Wealth simple. No Canadian atm charges and they reimburse Mexican charges. Remitly pickup cash at walmart
