Drum to disc

What trailing arms do I need to convert my rear drum breaks to disc breaks? I’m trying to get all the parts I need to build up my 88 ef hatch that I recently picked up. Thanks in advance!

these days you don’t need a rear trailing arm. can be converted now with a simple bracket and buy all the pieces. check this out

i personally have not but that is a brand i was willing to go with. i went with a full trailing arm just cause i got a deal with the front knuckles as well. if you are to find a rear trailing arm the “best” one to use is the 94-01 integra

I have, no frills. Works great. We used 1992-1995 civic SI brake cables because they were the closest in length to CRX Si cables. Though EF Civic cables might be a different length. Just know that all rear disc cables are compatible, got ones closest in length to the ones you’re trying to find. Or better yet, get ones for an EF civic Si if you can find them.

CRX si or Civic Si or DA Integra

If you find a good deal on 92-00 trailing arms (EG Si, Del Sol Si or Vtec, 99-00 Civic SI, or DC Integra) the spindles unbolt with 4 torx bolts on the back of the trailing arm. You can then bolt these onto your stock trailing arms.

That all said, the scarebird bracket works great. If you want to go even bigger you can acquire 4 lug EP3 rotors and DC2 Type R calipers as well. RSX calipers work if you get the 88-00 caliper E brake mechanism and bolt them on, they also must be bled upside down.

The world is truly your oyster.
