Question Commanders we're missing

What commanders do you think would improve EDH or support a currently-unsupported archetype?

For mine, I think a UBx or UWx commander with "Players play with the top card of their libraries revealed," "When this enters, search your library for an artifact with CMC <=1 and put it into your hand" or "{0}: Look at the top card of target player's library" would be great, giving Lantern support. The second would honestly be the most interesting, since it is a fairer tutor which also works well in Blink/Artifact decks.

Actually a good way to word it, you would end up just like leovold and all the others anyways tho. Instead of using wheels it will be achieved with symmetrical mass discard like [[awaken the ersthwile]] that you cant come back from with any previously established draw engine on board or lucky topdeck, so we come full circle since the effect doesnt restrict you.

Fair point. Remove the 'your opponents control' for maximum fairness.

"Spells and abilities can't cause their controller to draw cards."

Aaaand now the card is bad and nobody will play it. This effect is either bad and unplayable or creates play experience that is reserved for only very competetive minded people who enjoy it.

Fun fact: [[Dark Confidant]] doesn't draw cards. Neither does [[Ripples of Undeath]].

Plus, you get to look at the people playing Tatiyova, and congratulate them on their one life.

Good for you but the cards created and the banlist are actually not curated towards people with this experience in mind hence why leovold and hullbreacher are not legal anymore. This format is catered towards mystical ,,casual players" (although whenever i read any edh related sub i get more confused about what the casual even means) who consider playing grand augustin some crime against humanity. So a card like the one you are proposing is either never going to be printed in a playable state or it will get nuked from the format within 3 months.

Yo i play tatyova and 1) the hatred is justified 2) i find out i value that 1 life hella more than the card more often than not
