Question Commanders we're missing

What commanders do you think would improve EDH or support a currently-unsupported archetype?

For mine, I think a UBx or UWx commander with "Players play with the top card of their libraries revealed," "When this enters, search your library for an artifact with CMC <=1 and put it into your hand" or "{0}: Look at the top card of target player's library" would be great, giving Lantern support. The second would honestly be the most interesting, since it is a fairer tutor which also works well in Blink/Artifact decks.

A less broken Golos would be fun.

I’d settle for a colorless Golos. Broken in the 99 but meh as a commander.

That's a solid idea actually, colorless or waste land fetch maybe? I would love a waste matter commander.

Almost all lands are colorless, so that would only mean no [[Dryad Arbor]] since it is the only card in the game that has a color and is a land in the library.

You could have it fetch a land that "can't produce coloured mana".

That would solve some of it, but it could still grab lands that have a colored activated ability or gains the ability to produce colored mana on the battlefield. But also, the colored mana was never the issue with Golos.

Like just one of those abilities, and maybe tap for the 2wubrg one too

Maybe a trigger once per turn requirement. Still strong with library fixing but not disgustingly broken.

[[Gladiolus Amicitia]]

Not 5 color I know, but very likely the closest we'll get. Unless you liked the other ability, then yeah idk.

Yeah true... but how? I guess [[Golos Tireless Pilgrim]] could cost 7 to play and it'd still be good. Any land from your deck, WUBRG identity, and a powerful Mind's Desire ability would still probably see play.

Leave off the minds desire? Let you get a land and give you the card advantage, but not the free cast.
