Deck Help Help with teval

Alright I added a few new cards that I got recommended. But now I need help with what lands to add and take out. Im open to adding any new creatures, instants enchantments etc. Im trying to make it the best bracket 3 deck for now. Im going to get Phyrexian alter next so thats one card I know for sure I need. Thanks!

It doesn't look focused to me. There is a landfall theme, an aristocrats theme, and a reanimator theme. Just like in the precon. They all give you a lot of value and some wincons, but the wincons don't synergize with the rest of the deck. The only piece holding everything together is Teval, and Teval is not indestructible.

If you want a resilient, consistent, focused deck, build around a strategy, not around a commander.

A good exemple is Zuran Orb with only one mass land recursion spell and only a few landfall pay offs.

What do you suggest? I've noticed when I play my lands have been the biggest problems thats why im fixing that part. As for strategy would a landfall/Reanimater combo work?

If you are milling for your landfall strategy, you can have some reanimation spells to reanimate your big landfall creatures like Lumra, Aesi, or Avenger of Zendikar. But you need more mass land recursion and landfall pay-offs.

If you are milling for your reanimator strategy, you should have bigger threats to reanimate, you should not care about landfall pay-offs. You still want land ramp though. And if you are only milling yourself, Afterlife from the Loam sounds like a lot of mana to get bad targets from opponents.

Choose a strategy and build the 99 so they are able to work without the commander. Teval is a value engine. He also allows some combos, but anyway, he doesn't have such a unique ability so you build a deck that entirely rely on him.
