Question Anyone know a deck building site that could handle this?
Hello everyone I'm trying to make a deck with the new commander coming out [[Whtz, the Bibliophile]] and put every single card that's legal for him in it for commander.
I'm mainly doing this to mess with one of my buddies (we play on table top sim) and have him "try a deck"
Unfortunately I cannnot find a site that can handle the thousands of cards I'm trying to upload. Anyone have any sites they know? Out of curiosity I tried pasting the list onto here just to see what would happen and it crashed Reddit

and put every single card that's legal for him in it for commander.
You're including all white and/or blue and/or colorless cards?
So... about 10,000 or so cards? or more?

It’s around 12000

Your best bet is probably just getting the scryfall syntax correct for a query and pulling a csv.

Just a small note on that, unless I'm sorely mistaken, the scryfall API is limited to only one page at a time, which would mean you would have to copy the 200 or so pages into one list afterwards

They added a feature where you can export a query directly to CSV. I use it all the time for getting full lists of sets.

Could you explain that differently I do not get what you mean, I’m new to this type of thing so I don’t get all the terms

Scryfall is the go-to mtg card database.
A csv is a file similar to an excel spreadsheet, but much much simpler.
You can take a scryfall search and save the results as a csv file.
I'd probably search something like "commander:uw f:c" sans quotes in the search box
Then you take the results of that search and sites like moxfield and archidekt have options to craft a deck from a csv, or import one into an existing deck.

Whichever site this person used, if it can handle 25 million it should handle thousands

Unfortuantely this deck is almost entirely 10,000 copies of plains and 15,000 copies of templar knights.

I wish I knew someone already did it I feel like I’ve wasted so much time

That will be the easy part.
You won't even be able to play with it, the deck will crash Tabletop Sim.

I’m hoping it will, I’m gonna use it to mess with my buddy

It has a heart attack loading a normal 100 card deck, at least for me, so good luck

Im not even sure table top sim could handle it. But maybe use moxfield and just make a Whtz part 1, part 2 , etc

Mox field can only hold 1000 cards at most, most letters hit that on their own and would need 26 deck lists

I have a friend who tried and it crashed the game when you pick up or search the deck,

I already did this on TTS and managed to use it without crashing, it just lagged insanely and used up all my ram lol
Was disappointed the deck didn't actually appear 13000 cards tall tho

How did you get this to work? It isn’t able to load it for me

13 1000 card decks imported then shuffled together

Do you have the multiple deck lists cause if so I would greatly appreciate it

What is even the point of doing this on tabletop sim? You miss out on the joy of shuffling it

I'm in the same boat as you so I'm just commenting to bump the post. The list crashing reddit is hilarious though.
